Just lately I've been making a determined effort to improve my photography. I read someplace that one of the best (and quickest) ways of taking better looking shots is to fit a lens hood - simple, and it works! I also invested in a Cokin ND graduated filter kit, and a Cokin polarizer to go with them, and they help to improve my shots as well as slowing the whole process down and make me think more about the scene in front of me. I'm trying to use a tripod as much as possible too, although sometimes I feel it restricts a natural flow, and in cold weather your fingers go numb whilst you're lugging it around Anybody out there got tips for me? - feel free to note me
Just thought I would tell you all abuot a great printing lab I've used recently - RGB Labs [link] . Prices are very, very reasonable and the quality of printing is superb. Staff there are also very helpful if you need them as well, check them out.
Not posted a lot this Summer. It started out ok, then I went on holiday and since I came back everything's been a bit shitty, just can't seem to get inspired and it seems like it's not worth going out and taking shots when it's grey outside. Wish I stayed someplace where you get a run of decent weather. - Just have to ride it out.
Was going to do a feature for "Summer Skies" contest, but the club is having trouble continuing, too much work for the admin, so the contest was cancelled. However, here are the ones I feel were the best out of the ones that were submitted before the contest closed, go give them some love!
